A great addition to the GRE® revised General Test and GRE® Subject Tests is the ScoreSelectSM option for reporting GRE scores. The ScoreSelectSM option gives GRE test takers the opportunity to decide themselves which test scores to send to graduate and business schools. The possibility to report the scores you feel show your personal best will improve the general test taking experience and give you more confidence on the test day.
The institutions to which you are applying will only receive the GRE scores that you have chosen to report using the ScoreSelectSM option, and there will be no special indication of whether you have taken additional GRE tests.
On test day, you can select from these options at the test center for free:
You can choose which score reporting option to use for each of your 4 free score reports.
After test day, you can send Additional Score Reports for a fee and choose from the following options:
If you are taking the paper-based GRE® revised General Test or GRE Subject Test, you will select your score reporting options prior to test day.
Please note: Scores for a GRE test administration must be reported in their entirety. Regardless of which ScoreSelectSM option you choose, you will be asked to select specific test administration dates so your Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning and Analytical Writing scores are all from the same testing session. This means that you can’t submit a part of your GRE score from one test day and another from another day.
The ScoreSelectSM options are available for both the GRE® revised General Test and GRE Subject Tests, and can be used by anyone with reportable scores from the last five years.
The GRE® revised General Test is the most widely accepted graduate admissions test globally and can open the door to a world of study opportunities. So take the step towards your future education today and register for the GRE® revised General Test!
